Why not save the already downloaded xml-files?
April 8, 2009 - 12:18 — AnonymousWould be nice, if the already downloaded files are saved for further use. At the moment your script tries to download the files everytime it is started.
Perhaps take a look at http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=65784. This one's for Linux/Amarok, saving the older xml files locally and also has a function to replace certain tags on the fly.
Support for UTF-8?
March 23, 2009 - 18:06 — AnonymousI seem to be getting errors for artist and/or tracknames that contain UTF-8 encoded characters, causing them not to be found in iTunes. Am I missing something obvious?
Creating a CSV file
February 8, 2009 - 18:52 — AnonymousHi Lionel
I'm having trouble getting the CSV import to work well - the script has gone straight to itunes 3 times so far.
I've tried:
perl lastFM2Itunes.pl [username] -v -csv playcount1.csv
perl lastFM2Itunes.pl [username] v csv playcount1.csv
perl lastFM2Itunes.pl [username] -v -csv C:\playcount1.csv
and none of them worked. What is the correct usage?
Thanks!
Could not get text from <playcount> tag
February 3, 2009 - 00:36 — AnonymousHi, just tried your script. Did not come back with data 'cause "Could not get text from tag". Why is that?
see below
Thanks!
Richard
